By having a complete A to Z process, Ilera can accommodate any fluctuations or uncertainties in the market and hence positively contributing to Nigeria’s economy. Vertical integration and value added to the economy will positively impact the local market prices. Hence, price competition will help grow the local industry. Consequently, Ilera will be able to replace imports by producing locally and the factory will be able to be quite competitive in the market which will reduce consumers purchase price benefiting the Nigerian social standards of living.

Our utmost goal is empowering women by having women involved in the life cycle – mainly by pushing women in local communities to be key suppliers of raw materials for Ilera (shea nuts).
